Ellipta - more ergonomics and efficiency

Ellipta can be swivelled into your discussion partner’s field of view as light as a feather. The fact that a picture often says more than a thousand words makes this flexibility extremely useful.
In the majority of cases, space is like time - you can never have enough of it. Ellipta is designed to reduce the amount of desk space taken up by monitors, giving you up to 40 percent more working space in comparison to a normal pedestal stand. Ellipta creates space beneath, behind and around the monitor. The keyboard can be slid beneath the monitor, and monitors that are not being used can be swivelled away in one movement, allowing working areas to be used in a more flexible way.
The double arm adapter kit makes it possible to have two flat screen monitors suspended around a single desk leg. Anyone who wishes to can secure additional monitors to a partition or the third desktop level using appropriate adapters, representing an optimum solution for DTP, IT or graphics workstations.

Versions of the aluminium Ellipta multi-directional flat screen arm with a desk leg are available for clamping to the worktop, inserting through the worktop or wall mounting. Monitors weighing 3 – 5 kg or 5 – 7.5 kg can be supported.

Care was taken to ensure that the product would be recyclable when the Ellipta was being designed. For this reason, Häfele uses a mechanical tension spring and has dispensed with the gas-filled struts that are normally used, which are not friendly to the environment. The multi-directional flat screen arm is made from pressure die-cast aluminium, and can therefore be taken for recycling later without problems and without the need for dismantling.

Made-to-measure office workstations with certified ergonomics are created in combination with Häfele’s Idea+Motion modular desking system with height adjusting facility.
